Dubai is one of the most lovable places on earth and the city is full of surprises when it to comes to new attractions, places to chill, explore and live life to the fullest.

1 – Dubai Mall (Aquarium & Fountain Show) – No Dubai visit is complete without witnessing the famous fountain show at Dubai Mall just at the footsteps of Burj Khalifa.
The show starts at 7 PM in the evening and goes on until 11 PM. This is one of the best spots for taking pictures next to Burj Khalifa. The best way to reach Dubai Mall is by Metro or by Taxi. The show is free for the public.
Another amazing feature inside the mall is Dubai Aquarium where you can get close to sharks, experience cage snorkeling and visit one of a kind underwater zoo. While you at there, do not miss to see the King Croc, measuring 5m in length and 750 kg in weight.! Now that’s king size, indeed!
2 – At The Top (Burj Khalifa) – Step on to the world’s fastest elevators and observe 360 degree views of the beautiful city from level 125 at Burj Khalifa.
If you don’t settle for anything less than best views, then visit 555 meters high at level 148 and get a personalized tour to the world’s highest observation deck.

3 – Desert Safari (Dune Bashing, Camel Ride, Belly Dance, Henna, Traditional Dress) – Dune bashing is one of the most thrilling experiences where you are onboard a 4×4 vehicle that slides on majestic sand dunes of the desert. It’s a skill that only experienced and licensed drives can maneuver.
After a fun ride, you’ll be taken to an open but protected camp where you can watch the traditional Arabic belly dance performance, get a henna tattoo, take pictures in traditional dress and enjoy the amazing barbecue buffet dinner and drinks. Prices for a decent tour start at AED 120/-
4 – Dubai Museum – Dive into the history and experience different wings such as masjid, oasis, astronomy and others to see original artifacts and samples of the rural and urban lifestyles.
You can also get a glimpse of architecture, people, trade and marine life in the earlier times and the impressive and ambitious development model. Tickets are priced at AED 3/-
5 – Aquaventure Water Park at Atlantis – One of the best water parks in the Middle East, Aquaventure offers you adrenaline pumping rides and good food at a stunning location.

6 – Global Village (Oct 30 2018 – Apr 6 2019) – Welcome to the place where world converges at a vibrant and entertaining location. At Global Village, you can visit a range of different pavilions represented by different countries, shop authentic products from Indian handicrafts, Turkish lamps to African art.
The place also offers daily live entertainment from east and west to keep the crowd engaged and entertained. The food court at Global Village offers broad variety of cuisines such as Thai, Lebanese, Chinese and Indian to name a few. Kids will also have a great time with a range of rides and activities.
7 – Ski Dubai & Penguin Encounter at Mall of the Emirates – Fancy skiing or looking for a fun way to beat the heat? Then visit the world’s third largest indoor ski slope offering 22,500 sq m of snow covered area to ski at five different slopes, take ski and snowboard lessons, bobsled and meet the colony of King and Gentoo Snow Penguins.
8 – Abra Ride – Probably the most important mode of transport in the developing days of the city, Abra (boat) ferries people between Bur Dubai and Deira till date at a very affordable fare of AED 1.
For private charter, the cost is AED 120 per hour. You can also experience the modern Air Conditioned Abra at different places around the city starting at AED 3.
9 – Deira Gold Souk – The City of Gold’s ultimate gold market or souk has shops lined up with staggering variety of gold ornaments and jewelry. The glittery display is overwhelming but it’s a good spot for pictures or to buy a piece of jewelry at reasonable prices.
10 – Dubai Frame – The frame is your walk through the past, an opportunity to experience the present and a peak into the future of the city. While you 150 meters high, enjoy break-taking views of the sunset and check out both old and new parts of Dubai. Tickets are priced at AED 50 for adults and AED 20 for kids.
11 – Dubai Miracle Garden (Mid-Nov to Mid-May) – Quite a contrast from the desert, the garden showcases more than 150 million colorful flowers forming different shapes and patterns.
The recreational area is 72,000 sq m. and home to the world’s largest floral sculpture in the shape of Airbus A380. Tickets are priced at AED 50 for adults and AED 40 for kids.
12 – Dubai Parks & Resorts – The place has three theme parks – Bollywood Parks which is a park inspired by Bollywood movies and has live entertainment. At Legoland, children can build and test their Lego creations, enjoy boating, theme rides, kids coasters and experience 4D cinema.
Motiongate brings rides from Dreamworks, Lionsgate and Columbia Pictures at one location and is my favorite theme park with rides such as Madagascar Mad Pursuit and Zombieland Blast Off.
13 – La Mer Beach – This is the coolest leisure destinations where you can relax, take a dip, sip a drink, shop or enjoy one of the many amazing restaurants. The newest addition to the location is the Laguna Waterpark with rides and activities for children and adults in four zones – Surf, Slide, Splash and Relax. Tickets are priced at AED 100
14 – IMG Worlds of Adventure – This is the world’s largest indoor theme park mostly for kids with Marvel, Cartoon Network, Lost Valley and IMG zones. Thor Thunder Spin, Velociraptor and Spider Man are some of the favorite rides. Tickets for Juniors are priced at AED 255 and AED 285 for adults.
15 – City Walk – It’s an urban shopping destinations to buy premium branded apparel and accessories. The place also offers a range of restaurants offering international cuisines such as Lebanese, American, Spanish, Italian and others. Hub Zero, a fun addition to the City Walk offers games, rides and activities for everyone aged 10+
16 – Dubai Garden Glow – This is a unique glow in the dark concept that showcases vibrant themes that are made up of millions of energy efficient bulbs and recycled materials. Famous attractions include Dinosaur Park, Art Park, Glowing Safari and Ice Park that has beautiful ice sculptures made using 5000 tons of ice. Best time to visit Garden Glow is during winters. Tickets cost AED 65/-
17 – Meena Bazaar – Literally travel to India by visiting Dubai’s oldest market where you can buy everything from perfumes, fabrics, garments, Indian grocery, handbags and jewelry. Evening is the best time to visit the market and if you are in Dubai during Diwali, the place is beautifully decorated with colorful lights. Al Fahidi is the nearest metro station to the market.
18 – Kite Beach – This is Dubai’s famous lifestyle destination. On good days, you can see many kite surfers with colorful kites almost crisscrossing at high speeds. On regular days, it’s a great place to jog, take casual walks and take a dip in clear waters. There are a range of restaurants as well to fulfill your tummy cravings.
19 – Souk Madinat Jumeirah – This is a traditional mall with a modern flare offering everything from souvenirs, fabrics, art, craft and branded apparel. The Abra ride with one of the best views of the Burj Al Arab is a must-do. For foodies, there is plenty to choose from from bar food to fine dining.
20 – Bastakiya / Al Seef – This cultural theme waterfront gives you a beautiful glimpse of traditional buildings, shops and lifestyle. There are several cafes and multi-cuisine restaurants along the stretch with beautiful views of the creek.
